Charles gave a very entertaining evening and showed the skills of pole lathe turning and the art of spindle turning with captive rings and then bowl turning. You will see how he prepares his bowl blank with a chopper. Real woodsman stuff. You will also notice that the tool is very long handled and is held in a high position. Photos were taken through the safety screen so diminished quality but they show the action.
